Bacon Cheeseburger Omelette (THM-S, Low Carb)

Who doesn’t love a good omelette?  Who doesn’t love a yummy cheeseburger?  Now you can have both with my bacon cheeseburger omelette!  All the flavors of a cheeseburger wrapped in a bundle of eggs!

I was not a big breakfast type girl when I was young.  I would rather just have a simple bowl of cereal and be on my way.  As I got older though, and learned more about having protein with my meals, I started to enjoy making eggs.  I’ve been told that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.  If I don’t start my day with good healthy nourishment for my body, the rest of my day is unpredictable!  It’s true!!

I’ve been making a simple omelette recently for myself and my husband.  It’s basically just bacon pieces and a piece of cheese inside.  It’s very yummy, but then I started thinking of how I could amp up this simple breakfast.

I had some cooked ground beef in the fridge so I decided “why not?”  this could be delicious…or it could be disaster!!!

It turned out to be delicious!  I like the average cheeseburger toppings: ketchup, mustard, etc.   You could toss a small handful of chopped onions in with your omelette, but I personally don’t care for onions, so I use onion powder.  Tastes great!

You could top your omelette with ketchup or whatever you like on eggs/cheeseburgers.  I actually squirted some ketchup inside my omelette before folding it.

This is a combination of two popular American foods...the omelette and the cheeseburger! Filled with protein, this omelette is filling and satisfying!

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tablespoons bacon pieces
  • 1/4 cup cooked ground beef
  • 2-3 Tablespoons shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • ketchup & mustard, optional


  1. Scramble eggs in a bowl and pour into greased skillet.
  2. Sprinkle bacon, ground beef, salt, pepper and onion powder on egg.
  3. Flip carefully and sprinkle cheese on.
  4. When done cooking, fold omelette over cheese and place on a plate!
